Case

Although it is not often thought of that tooth decay may develop in young children, many families make observations such as discoloration, breakage, and darkening of the teeth, but unfortunately do not take action to solve the problem. Early childhood caries actually progresses unnoticed because parents do not observe and make changes in nutrition and oral care. In addition to the fractures in the front teeth, newly erupted milk molars and canine teeth occur. The situation in the upper jaw is often worse than that in the lower jaw. Due to on-demand nutrition and lack of tooth brushing with fluoride toothpaste, the upper jaw primary incisors were extracted, root canal treatment and stainless steel prefabricated crowns were applied to the primary molars, and direct composite fillings were performed on the canines.
