Incisor Molar Hypomineralization

Project type

Case

Major destruction of teeth may not always begin with tooth decay. Developmental tooth defects can lead to weak enamel mineralization, leading to brittle teeth development, and major destruction of teeth can occur due to the development of tooth decay on surfaces broken by chewing loads. In this 8-year-old patient, the destruction of the molar tooth due to hypomineralization of the incisor molar enamel was treated with direct composite filling under rubber sheet isolation.
