Dental fear-anxiety

Delayed dental treatment needs and interrupted dental treatments are common in anxious-fearful children. In this 8-year-old child, reciprocal and balancing extractions were performed under general anesthesia due to major damage and abscess in the first molar teeth. Caries in the primary teeth that could be maintained were treated with stainless steel crowns and direct composite fillings, and black external tooth discolorations were treated with polyurethane initial gum treatment.
